Endymion is one of the largest and best parades of the carnival season. Rose and I managed to elbow our way to a good spot at Marconi Meadows, the staging area for all of the bands and floats. Endymion was celebrating it's 34th anniversary with the theme, "AT HOME IN THE DOME." All of the floats depict important events in the history of the Louisiana Superdome, everything from political conventions, to the premier of Walt Disney's Hunchback of Notre Dame to concerts by "Kiss."
